Any suggestions on what I will need to take apart as it plowed into the sand? Surely nothing would have made it into the airbox? I'm guessing better to be safe than sorry though.
Had a chat with my stealer yesterday and he wants me to bring it in for them to look at. Fat chance of that happening. It's only cosmetic what is broken in terms of original KTM parts so why would I take it to them. $100+ per hour for some guy to look at it when I can have a go myself.

#13Is it fine sand or gravel pebbles?
Gravel and pebbles get everywhere - into each nook and cranny of the bike but I have found that this is a good way to ensure you go over the whole bike to check for damage. Just methodically work your way over the bike with a little brush and tweezers.
I would definitely raise the tank and have a look in the airbox to check it's absolutely clean. And pay special attention to the front brake calipers - I've had pebbles crushed in so hard that you have to remove the pads to get it all out - best be sure in that area, you don't want a bit of stone working its way into the pad material or piston area.

For cleaning the bike, I would say dont ride it until you've completely stripped and cleaned out all the brakes sand and stones can kill discs and they aint cheap!
Check your air box and all nooks crannies etc. Make sure your handlebars are on straight, loosen them off their rubber dampers and let them resettle then tighten back up again. Also make sure you havent damaged teh steerign head stops/bolts. Turn it to full lock in each direction and make sure that nothign fouls/touches the tank and also make sure it's the same amount of turn in each direction. You may have bent the stopper on teh headstock part of the frame. No big deal (as long as the frame is OK) but you may want to adjust the stop bolts to stop it hitting the tank if this does now happen.
Finally check your chain. Clean it thoroughly to make sure there's no sand in the seals/rings or that sucker is gonna wear out much faster as a result.
Glad you are relatively OK mate....did it hurt when your shoulder was popped back in? Hope you didnt have any nerve damage.
Next time you tip it in on a right hander your arsehole is gonna quivver but just plough ahead and face those demons!! (unles you've done this loads before in which case you know you'll be fine )

Im using a push bike GoPro seat post mount so I could put it on the bars.
It comes with sticky back mounts so where you can put it is only limited by your imagination and space.
