Anyone had these tyres before?

They were on the bike when i got it and i cant wait to get the buggers off and get something better on.

I've had a few tyres on different bikes but these are the worst!

When there warm there "ok" but when there cold Jesus are they scary ive has Bridgestone Battleaxes, Pirelli Angel STs, Pirelli Corsas and a number of others but none that spin up or slip as bad as these.

I had the Angel Sts on my RSVR and they never slipped or spun up once even when cold but these Vipers spin up if i accelerate hard in a straight line and doing a not too mad right hander gave me a little drift on them (fun afterwards but at the time a little unexpected!)

Just wondered how anyone else found these tyres (especially when cold?)
I checked the pressures and all good so it must just me the rubber i think my RSVR felt about the same power and as i said was awesome on the Angels (which are Sport Touring Tyres!)
Its true that the Avon's are a generation or more behind the current crop of tyres but they're not as bad as you describe: it sounds very much to me that there is something wrong with them and I'd get shut of them immediately!

BTW: the Angel's are one of the three best road tyres available IMO. What did you think of them?
My Pilot 2's used to spin when stone cold when starting off, but after solid! Those Avons sound nasty mate, cut the fookers off!
