I'm all confuse again as too what bike to get. I'm ready this time to get rid of my drzsm to go with something more street orientated and I'm debating between 3 bikes so far, a 08 SD, 08 XB12S or 08 duke III 690.

j-s, welcome to the forum.... better late than never. Get the Orange SD 990,

you will have to look back cos you will be waiting on them.

A friend of mine test rode the Buell at V.I.R. and said that it felt like it was going to melt his boot from where the exhaust is routed and it performed ok but not exciting. Go with the 990SD in black with PC and Akro. Pull the baffles out and you have a bad ass bike that is wicked looking and rocks on the track. Add the carbon fiber as you get extra money and be ready to answer questions about where to get one of those. CH
