Note,
No dent or crease on the inlet end cap.

Now heres what he calls a repair and when i first asked him for a quote+price he said,
" You havent seen my work have you, when i repair it, you wont ever be able to tell it was damaged.

Thats a pretty shonky job, not much different to before just a little tidier.

I hope it did not cost much?
Send it back mate and get him to finish the job. Otherwise, just tell him his work doesn't meet your requirements and that you are aren't paying him then find somebody else to start again. Shoddy work though. Bet you were pissed off.

To me that looks as though it should be an easy repair.
Drill out rivits , remove end piece and then slide a big tube inside while tapping the outside with a mallet. Then re fit end cap with new strap/rivits.

Looks like he has made it worse to me.

If you've ever worked with Titanium, you'd agree; that's a pretty decent repair job. The only real way to make it look new is with replacement parts...

Those new pics do look better.... but they also couldn't be more out of focus if he tried lol. I guess the only was to tell is see it with your own eye. I'd ask him if he is happy that he has done the best repair he can, to ship it to you and then let you judge if it is worth the extra dosh or just the original quote.

Well,

The creases are not as bad as pic shows, but not great either.

Now i need to decide if i carry on spending money on them and will i get it back when sold.
