I wonder why....

Now it may be a little too late to tell you that the SD has a plastic tank

The good news is that the ktm tank bag are easily found for sale at reduced price second hand

And it looks good enough being easy to get it on and off:

i had seen those bags but ide never reach the bars, all i wanted was a bag small enough to take ciggys , phone, cash,

Anything bag related, look towards Kriega. They cost, but they are worth it. For just carrying around a few essentials, how about one of these?

The tank and US 20 (or US10 or US5) has the advantage that you can also attach it on the tail.
