Before and after dyno run w/ Motobox+other mods w/ out PCIII

My SDR's first run had the Akra Evos, KTM/Akra map, BMC filter and the can in the arse removed.

The after run constitutes my bike w/ the Motobox, Aarons flys, SAS removed w/ blockoffs and resistor soldered on, and the Dynojet O2 eliminators. No Power Commander has been installed as of yet. As you can see I lost 2 hp just above 10K but gained everywhere else. You can also see at the A/F below that the before run was really lean right off idle and then dumped fuel in around 3,300 to 3,700 rpm. I think the O2 eliminators helped here on the after run. The bike is much more enjoyable to ride now, it's smoother and has more midrange.

I'm going on an overnight ride this weekend over Mt Rainier and back so we'll see how the bike performs at a higher altitude with the O2 eliminators on. I took it on the track two days ago and the bike really starts to wail around 6K rpm. Looking forward to my overnight twisties ride with it.

Nice job Rotten.

I think you'll find that the new found smoothness can mostly be attributed to the Motobox. The o2 eliminators do help a little.

You are absolutely right in that the o2 eliminators helped the lean condition @ 3200 rpm evident on the first run. They essentially stopped the ECU from trying to lean out the F/A mixture to appease the EPA.

Again, nice job.

Question : 'Is there anything that reveals the presence of this particular map, ie Akra map'?

Answer : Easy - A 20% increase in fuel consumption with the 'Rich map' and about a 5% decrease in power.

Personally I'd fit the PC3 and have a custom map done if i had the motobox fitted.

100 euro's for the map!!!!????? Sorry but they must have seen you coming a mile off!

Randy doesn't mention it but EDR is one of the best tuners around. Eric is top notch and has many of the fastest bike on the race circuit. If anyone can improve on the SD's performance, he can. Lucky you RR!
