Just fitted mine. I'm guessing internal diamter of the bar is around 15mm, so I fitted mine using the expanding brass bolt, but without using the 17mm and 19mm adapators.

Quality and fit is superb. Although it is a small mirror, and flat, so you don't see much unless you move around. Mine is there just for occassional convenience though.

If i wanted more practical I'd get the adjustable ones (i.e. they're adjustable on the move) with 70mm convex.

Could you post a pic?...as i did not find any photo installed in a superduke

cheers mate

Here is the new CRG Arrow mirror. I had the stock bar end milled down to fit the mirror as the CRG adaptor is a bit chintzy:

Hey guys

These look great. Only realised how cool the SD can look when I started doing track days and taking the mirrors off made it look 20 times cooler! Thinking of getting the Oberon 75mm covex for right side barend.

Does anyone use some sort of plug in the OEM mirror mounting point to stop water etc. gathering etc.?

Also, I'm working on the assumption that the 15mm fitting is the one to get.

Cheers

Look on this page for clamps that eliminate the mirror mounting holes.

CRG Arrows look very nice, do they fit straight on the standard barends?
Anyone here who is using the rizoma reverse mirrors?
Image
I got the mounting kit to fit the mirrors and took out the original bar ends. You can also machine down the original bar ends to fit the mirrors on it. See the thread below, he also had the rizomas before mounting crgs.

Finally! I wasn't too sure at first, but the more I looked the more I liked.

Not sure, I don't have a way to measure it that accurately.
Here are the Ebay mirrors.

I had a look at mine earlier and it appears to be a 14mm internal diameter. Correct me if I'm wrong anyone.

Edit: make that 12mm

Im on a budget and want to do some mods. Cheap bar ends and levers allow more money for crash protection and intake/exhaust.

I really like the way these look on Street Triples and have seen once on an SD (from this forum maybe). What is the view like (looks like it could be a forearm special) and are the cheap ebay ones ok i.e. vibration, fitment etc?

I've got some cheap eBay ones, but never mounted them. I suspect they will fold in as soon as i reach any speed above standing still. The rubber mounting of mine didn't fit inside the sd bars too.
I got mine from jumbodepot or something like that (via eBay)
I now use the crg hindsight lookalikes from eBay. Cheap, but very effective.

I am using the CRG Arrows in the configuration shown in the link posted above.
Their edgy shape compliments the bike. Best part is they don't vibrate at speed providing great rearward vision. They are pricey but worth it.
