Best place/price for ASV Levers?

Dutch

Ok, so I bought Harris folding levers and now I'm jealous of all you lot with the sexy ASV levers... In fact every posh bike at the London Bike Show seemed to have ASVs fiited - just to taunt me...

So, where and how much please?

they took about a week to come, and shiping if i recall was very cheap but cant recall the amount sorry but in the region of $20.

i went for the longs as i had tried the shorties on a friends street tripple and for me personally i prefer to get my hand on it, (looser) i just feel they felt alien to me, as when i went to go for the lever a few times, i had to think they were short etc, but seeing as you use two fingers now u should be fine with them

I got mine from motomummy also. Very good service.
US$30 freight but you can add a fair bit of other stuff and the freight cost remains the same.

Did any of you get import tax, if so how much?

Also is the shorty on the clutch enough for riding through town?

Got mine from the States too. No import duty that I remember, just arrived in post very quickly, less than a week.

Shorty levers fine, even for the clutch. Better than the long ones for London traffic because my old Rizomas were the widest thing on the bike - not good if you're going to clip something.

I've bought ASV's from several places. The best places I've found are motomummy.com and Cycle Guys. http://www.thecycleguys.com/

I've never had any bad dealings with either company. It seems like a lot of folks deal with motomummy, so I needn't say more about Corey.

I've had good dealings with the Cycle Guys as well. There have been times when the Cycle Guys have had ASV levers that no one else had them - and have always had great prices. Besides the web site above, the Cycle guys also have an e-bay store and they advertise there that they will ship internationally. If they have a better price on e-bay than their website for levers, but they don't have the one you are looking for listed on e-bay, shoot them a message on e-bay, they'll list them and you can buy from e-bay. They're pretty easy to deal with.

If you don't mind a bit of scratches I see that Drswade's crash damaged race bike has ASV levers fitted. He's parting the bike and is open to offers. See current thread just posted.

Anyone fitted a set of the ASV's to a 1290 yet and did you buy them from these guys.... think I need a set of the shorts, like using 2 fingers on brake and clutch, but the other fingers can get squeezed now and again by the standard levers when braking hard

TheCycleGuys.com does not have them anymore. I just checked.

Motomummy.com has a good deal on them US$225 for a set with any color adjuster you may want.
