Big Service tomorrow :|

Well its that time of year after clearing out the junk from my garage i found myself a SDR neglected in the corner.
In the last week its done more miles than it has probably done in the last year anyhow enough of the sob story.

The bike has an oil leak from the crank had a good look over cant quite work it out but ooze comes from the crank cover and then down the side stand somthing needed to be done (1 week left of warrenty)

it hasnt been serviced for almost the two years ive had it so i booked it in for a 4,000 mile service tomorrow even though its done just about done 2,000 now aparently its a big job ? 3 hours labour + parts is it a valve check for the 4,000 or somthing really fiddly to do anyone know ?

Asked them for an RC8r as a demo for the day and got an ER6 feeling proper stuffed at the moment

Based on what you said I reckon you took it to Laguna didn't you

Assuming you had the first service then no valve check is normally done at 4500 miles but they do say it should be done every two years so it depends what service they're giving it really.

yep thats right TJ mate was going to go to the one in Croydon but figured id get lost so Maidstone it was.
The bikes there now could have probably done the service myself dont seem like there is much to the 4,000 mile service

Hopefully pick it up tonight ohhh and the only good thing about an ER6 is its got a comfy seat
