Bike boots for hill walking?

hi tec magnums elite 2 i,ve used them and they are good for the bike and are great for walking ,and breathable and waterproof
Like asking what scuba gear is best for ballooning.
If a boot is protective for riding, it isn't going to be very comfortable for walking . Let alone hiking.
Haul a separate pair of hiking boots and lock up your riding boots to the bike using a pack safe.

They make walking boots too and some of their boots cross over (rather old school though)

Just done 1800 + mile's around the Scottish highlands in these ........
