It hurts seeing you bike hit the deck. No matter how small an accident it is. Mine was recently knocked down while parked.

Good thing you got sliders.
I just recieved my R&G's and fitted them yesterday.
Unfortunately I also recently crashed the duke.
about 3500 euro's of damage, should have bougt the sliders earlyer....
by the way, I'm kinda anctious to see the pictures.

#12Thanks guys, but I've ordered a new lever for £36 and a half set of R&G top protectors (they sell half kits I suppose cos youy only usually go down on one side!) for £40.
As its a new bike I thought I'd get new stuff if only to teach me a lesson!
As you can see from the photos the top bobbin took the full whack but the brake pedal is minced and there is a small amount of scraping on the lower edge of the engine casing, bit difficult to see, but its there.
No other damage anywhere including the exhausts so I was as happy as I can be after dropping her !

#15F, do you think the cnc clutch alloy cover is worth the x-tra money, from KTM hard parts, I think that is the most economical route, plus if you are out and away from home it may survive a crash, unlike the stock ktm one's?

Yes I would say the lowers are needed because although you cant see very well in the photos, the engine casing did end up marked so if the lowers weren't fitted I could see it taking the whole impact. Also have a look at the brake pedal !!
My SD is still poorly, nothing to do with the drop and I won't bore everyone with the full story here, just to say a new wiring loom is being fitted on its 4th visit to the garage!!
When I get it back (hopefully next week) i'll bore the lot of you with the full story !!
