Yeah, great review. And just what I'm looking for. I prefer leathers over textile but hate the gambling process of should I put on my rainsuit or not. Normally, if I put on my rainsuit because it starts raining, it will stop after 3 minutes...and I get all sweaty. Or I decide not to put the rainsuit on hoping for the rain to stop...and the leathers get all wet beacuse it doesn't stop

So looking into buying waterproof leathers for touring. Have looked at Rukka and Hein Gericke, any experience with those compared to BMWs suit? I didn't know about the BMW option but read somewhere that Dainese will have a goretex leather suit for next year. Any other alternatives?

So the BMW suit looks fine (not to sure how happy I am riding around with a BMW logo though). Also important that the pants go on the outside of the boots (to avoid water running into the boots). My boots are rather thick at the top (Alpinestars MX R+ or something) so not sure if the pants will fit over. Or do they open much when not zipped?

Else the suit seems really good. Could be a bit more sporty for the SDR and I don't mind some colors to make myself more visible. I guess the protection is the d3o thing ( ww.d3o.com ) BTW?

The suit was tested in temps from 8 - 22 celcius and it was fine. I think when getting over those temps it will become a bit hot, but then again only something vented won't be.

I don't find it "sweaty" and know exactly what you mean by that. We are nearing the corner to the summer here and it will be nice to see how the A4 suit handles it. I think I can get by with it, as for the most part it always feels on the colder side....
