BMW S1000rr naked bike?

Looks like BMW might be trying to compete with the 1290, competition is good.

But,,,, inline four's are inline four's , and V twin's are V twin's,,,,,,,

Or some dude modded up a (his) crashed S1000RR ...

The rumors on a "naked" S1000 have been flying for so long, it's almost as if the media folks wish up whatever they want from some grainy pics so bad you have to wonder whether they're legit or not.

Now, where are those old "Bigfoot" ("sasquatch") and "Nessie" pics ...



As for a new 1290 SD, sure, it's probably going to be marketed: But where, how, and as what exactly is TBD - funny how folks treat it as if it's already a big market player - LOL; hats off to KTM marketing! At least the Tuono V4R is real.

Certainly looks like the bike thats been doing the rounds for the last 18 months , would be a bit pointless without a fairing in my opinion , it isnt that kind of bike.

Ive had one for nearly 3 years and can still remember riding there on my SD , and coming home on the beemer thinking...." This steers a lot slower than my KTM!!!"
the beemer has still been the best bike ive owned and had the most fun on mind......still waiting till October !
