So i've lost about easy 10 lbs since i bought my SD 11 months ago , and i've lost that 10 lbs in the last 3 weeks ...

i know i'm krazy but my SD with all the typical mods seems to Fookin haul ass like never before !
is it possible that 10 + lbs makes that much difference ? is the power to weight ratio that significant ? anyone of you mathematical genius's know how to compute power to weight ratios and convert it to HP and Torque at the rear wheel ??? i'm curious ..... Because i'm thinking i might just have to loose another 10 lbs , seems like so much fun , either i continue to become a more aggressive rider or the weight loss is responsible but it sure seems like i'm spinning the rear tyre up alot more easily comin out of turns , a slight shift of body weight and twist of the throttle and zip zip the rear's a sidesteppin .... anyway -

I have have "heard" (so its probably not fact) that every 1Kg lost on the drag track is equivalent to gaining 1 Hp... don't know how true it is but it is something that i believe is a valid point... lighter you are the faster you accelerate
What have the temperatures been like, steadily dropping while you're loosing the last 10lbs ? Being healthier, having a healthy body helps the brain, so your reflexes and abilities may have sharpened up a bit also. Weight loss is weight loss, will take less power to hurry up. Take a look at the size of most jockeys, umm, I mean racers....
Hummm . This also has me thinking as well about the "Brake DYNO machines" - it wasn't explained to me not all too much but from what i understand that big drum the rear wheel spins on has a constant brake of sort on the rear wheel ----- so for example if your bikes final HP figure is 125 hp at the rear i'm wondering how much that DRUM BRAKE compares to a persons body weight .... IE: if that drum brake equates to 100 lb rider / 200lb rider or what ? Or am i way off base even considering making such a comparison .

I remember reading a test done between fat skinny and somone wearing a bulky suit that caught the wind, as far as I remember they wighted the skinny bloke up with wieghts, the outcome was no different between heavy and light person, the bigest limiting factor was the bulky suit, so unless you lost arond - pound I dont think you would realy feel it, unless maybe at the track
