Here are two options I have for headers to fit to my project SD. One set is basically new having been fitted to a bike with the engine running but never ridden so zero road exposure. The other set are off a 20K bike but have been shot blasted back to Matt finish perfection.
The finish on the new pipes is shinier and smoother
, the shot blasted pipes have more texture and are Matt looking.
I like both but I'm wondering what will look best after a few rides and thought some here would have experience if the shot blasting finish durability. One consideration is that I only have one rear section and that has been blasted so front and rear wouldn't match if I use the new system.
Which one would you refit??
