That explains why they've been selling a load of stuff off on ebay then recently.

Good for owners who use them if they're keeping the workshop open, shame to see any motorcycle business go under though.

I was one who defected due to customer service, or lack of it.

Shame though for all concerned who work there and for the fact that compititon between dealers is a good thing and helps keep prices down. Not that KTM Hemel would know anything about that!

I, for one, will be supporting Paul in his new venture and I hope others will too.

I think I will be sticking with Paul for a go. Does anyone know if he will have access to all the KTM parts etc?
get a quote first. I had my 05 SD serviced at Bracken and havent used them since.

It was about 450.00 quid as I recall and they kept the bike for a week as they couldnt / didnt bother to get a new exhaust gasket any sooner.

I had little faith in them as the kids I saw in the workshop were about 16 and had the intelligence of plankton.

In fact it is hard to see how the business failed as they charged top top top dollar surely couldnt have paid much rent for their shanty town premises and certainly couldnt have paid their oompa loompa technicians much.

They did however, hold a lot of stock and were always my first port of call for mail order parts. Whereas the ever useless Laguna's (THE WORST DEALER IN THE WESTERN WORLD) hold no stock and if you are silly enough to let them order parts in for you, usually manage to forget your order at least twice.

Whilst I personally wouldnt use Bracken for servicing again there is no justice in the world if they go under and Laguna continue to operate. RIP Bracken, best of luck Paul in your new venture but for christ sake, make those kids dress and act like responsible adults as we are trusting our pride and joys to them.
