#2The seventh comment is correct: "That should read "faster biker who was honest enough to actually stop" or "faster biker plod actually managed to catch" lol".
My old man told me of a chase he did when still in the police, he was doing 160 and the culprit was pulling easily away on a 'blade, whilst wearing shorts and T'shirt. The chase got called off and the speeder never got caught......

#6Naturally the list is all A roads and Motorways, easy to go fast on them.
I dont get why anyone chooses to blat it that fast on A roads and Motorways you have such a higher chance of getting caught (or not caught if you dont stop).
B roads rock, SD territory, little Police and little traffic.

#7Yeah I stay away from major A roads and motorways as much as possible. Traffic cops don't do pity and seem to thrive on handing out tickets. Also they are fooking boring to ride . I might be riding down to Eastbourne for the Airshow on Sunday. Riding down with a m8 and I know he will want to use the motorway and major A roads don't think he can handle how the SD destroys his Z1000 on the twisties

#8Ah ha. I re-read the list. At the top it says "Top 10 Fastest Speeds on Roads 2009 - 2011". That'll explain why the 170's ones aren't in it.
Post 9 by SDNerd,
#9I did over that yesterday... Not on the SD though.

#12In 99 I was measured on vascar twice at 130MPH - on a 250!
Luckily for me a rode away with a warning - there was a string of reasons for that lucky escape.
The other 3 riders I was with - 2 girls and a bloke were pulling away from me quite handily!

#17Has everything to do with the fact he's a thieving **** rather than the speeding charge.
