My team mate and now mentor, I think has a post you should see.
It doesn't appear that he will be composing such a usual tale of interest and entertainment. You will see why.
I would like all of you in SD land to get an update on the happenings and the successes as well.

Open Twins was the first race of the day. Those coming back from practice sessions looked as if they were riding in the rain. The fog was very thick and the mist was heavy. GoGo decided to go out in a slower practice group, mine, to scrub in some tyres, I think. I decided to skip it and install some Vesrah pads instead. Holy shit! Have you tried these?
Just as the fog cleared, it was race time.
I went around the track with a bit of hesitance on the hot lap thinking it was cold and slick.
We gridded up and I had an impressive holeshot over the very fast guys in front only to have the race black flagged before they could all pass me.
We did a full restart and once again I had a pretty good start. Seems that when you are in the second wave at Infineon, you get a bit more time for the wheelie to settle before the first turn.
Soon enough, the usual fast suspects who I bested at the start got around me and we were all now in the race.
I had walked the track the night before with GoGo and some others. I wanted to try his line into the famous "carousel" so I headed to the back of it. Another rider decided that is where he wanted to offload some very expensive Ducati alloys and leather. Shit! Brakes in the carousel?
I don't think so.
I avoided him and started my usual battle with the guys at the back. I was passed by a fellow Aussie Novice that has come up in the race game with me. He usually passes me and disappears on his DoubleDog Moto carbon fibered 1098S. Oh no...NOT THIS TIME!
I pushed him around the track and finally got him in turn 11. The only place that I have ever crashed!!! NOT THIS TIME!!!
I held him off for the rest of the race, picking up "Top Novice" for the Open Twins race while lapping at 2 full seconds faster than my fastest time ever at that track!
Meanwhile...at the front of the race was an absolutely ripping version of GoGo not only beating Tigerboy but claiming second!
Did I mention that Tigerboy and DoubleDog are garage mates?
Our team owners were there with friends and we got to give them their money's worth, I think.
Later in the day, the Formula One race, with perfect conditions, the perfect catastrophe happened. See the link below:

Absolutely horrific!!!
I couldn't even look at the bike without getting nauseated.
GoGo seems OK but the SDR is in two pieces.
We have 2 months 'til the next round. We shall see.
I want to thank here on our forum, MenloSD, another superduke.netter.
Thanks for coming out Brian. Thanks for the help!
