#19I hope he is not tied up too many years with his contract. Now not even having his own brand, and having to work on heavy machinery that could never think of true competitive performance cannot inspire a guy such as him.
One thing the company never truly had was a sense of style. It was said above that we don't want to buy ugly bikes and that's true. Look at the originals.....function but no inspiring styling cues. Now look at the latest.....same problem. But he does not need my analysis, I just hope things look up for him. Watch the video and you can see what he's feeling. With his name he could do a boutique busines building a few bikes at a time and probably do very well.

#23if they had dropped the stupid belt drive, fitted a better gearbox and upped the cc's to make some reasonable power they might have succeeded with the lightning and city x. maybe even have "normal" brakes on the front too.
the watercooled ones were EXTREMELY ugly though, no matter how good or not they were in any other dept. whoever styled those shouldn't ever be given another job in motorcycling again.
