Just saw a Triumph Thruxton the other day (nothing new I know) but thought there is a gap in the market for this sought of thing. The Thruxton is let down by Triumph's woeful build quality from the start, and the jelly moulds they use to make some of the parts..... Jeeeeesus, and some other parts would not look out of place on a Chinese bicycle.
Now KTM could bring the Cafe Racer into the future and still make it a brilliant bike, but what engine. The 690's would be too small and the Superduke too aggresive, but maybe a slightly de-tuned Supermoto, who knows.
Lets have a vote for and against, and some of your opinions
