I got my vacation.I had to drop off my bike to Thousand Oaks Ktm for a remap.
Champion KTM installed the wrong map.
Wow, We started in Simi valley took the back roads to Fillmore.Then we rode to cold springs tavern.
The duke was so fast.This was the first time I got to ride it thru the Ca. canyons.
I love this bike it is so easy to go fast.I hit some sweepers and nobody could keep up.
I went by all my bro's like they were stopped.Trust me guys it's not me this bike make anyone fast.
I have ridden for years.Been a while thru the twisties in Ca.
It was like I never stopped I felt so normal to lean it over.
Sam Marcos pass was so much fun You can fly thru that section the road is perfect.
Lucky for me there were no cops around or I know I would have been in trouble.
It's just so hard not to go fast on such a perfect road.I had to see what the duke could do.T.O. KTM did a great job fixing the remap. My local dealer Champion KTM.Put the wrong one in Too bad they don't stand behind their work.
They over charged me. 7 hours for the first service and put the wrong map in.Thanks to Lance at T.O. my bike is perfect.
I had to bring it back before I left.Lance pluged it in and told me when I get home to AZ to let it idle for 15 min. then shut it off.
Wow it is so great now.I would have never known that. the thing runs like a champ.Did a early am Ride in AZ.
It's a differant bike.No problen getting the front end up now.It was well worth the 90 bucks.
I can't wait for it to cool down here it's 120 way to hot.
One more month of hell then I can ride every day again.
