Can anyone keep up with a K7 GSXR1000?

Hey Lads,

Corners aside... has anyone raced the gixxer or R1, zx etc?
Have you had any luck to keep up in a straight line.... I cannot seem to keep up with roll-ons 100km's (60mph) and above.

If we talk corners or B-roads - we all the know wins there

Anyone who thinks or says they can are living in a dream world.

the Superduke can't even match a K6 600 for 'speed' tests.

1000cc IL4's just go whoosh!

I've got some video from Jerez of me chasing a R1. I gain on the initial exit cos we're on the side of the tyre, but as soon as we both have the gas full on he just fooks off!

I close up on the brakes, then get a little closer through the next half of a lap, then the back straight arrives and he's off again.

In the end I pass him, but TBH, if he was a better rider I'd have been toast.
