Carbon Cans... Do they hold up?

Alright, I am researching cans for this beast and I have to say that the carbon ones really look nice... Question I have is who on this forum actually own a set of Carbon cans (And what brand/make etc.) and have they held up for you?

I know in the past there were some companies that sold carbon cans and they hold up OK for inline 4's, but will fall apart when subjected to the power pulses given out by a large V-Twin... So I am a bit paranoid when it comes time to plunk down $1700 for a set of pipes!

Consensus:

Carbon cans are fine these days, FMF's, LeoVince, Remus all fine but avoid Carbon Can Company.
