Carbon Fiber, I mean Fibre, Help - What would you do?

So here's the situation. I picked up some rear carbon fibre panels over the winter since I was able to find a good deal on a pair. I've been looking for the carbon tank shrouds to go with it, but haven't been able to find any at a discount. I wanted to have the rear panels and tank shrouds in carbon and leave everything in black (maybe a carbon hugger too).

So now my dilemma is whether I sell off the rear panels and use that money to help fund other items or suck it up and pay the price for the carbon shrouds. If I use the money for other items it I would probably buy more functional items than the carbon...but oh, the look of carbon fibre

well... only you can answer this question. it all depends how you use the bike.

is it primarily a chick-magnet at local coffee shop, trying to look better then the Ducatis, or a pure race machine, with battle scars and all?
what else do you have on her? are you interested in improving performance, or is it more then enough for now, and you just want to personalise it/add some bling?
