Carbon wheels on an 07 - steering damper required?

Just got my bike back with carbon dymags and Evo full system mapped with baffles out. The power is much more responsive and the steering is much lighter - so much so that I'm wondering about getting a steering damper - I really didn't think it needed one with the stock wheels.

Anyone know how much I am looking at for the genuine KTM Hard Parts steering damper?

Send me the wheels - I'll test em out and see
You fit carbon wheels to speed up the steering, then fit a damper to slow it back down again?? Keep the standard wheels and send the £3k to me, I'll put it to good use! My '05 has carbon wheels and doesn't need a damper, so you can now sleep safe in the knowledge that your '07 definatly won't need a damper (you can send me half of the £500 i've just save you if you like!)
