i copied the above from an older thread. i am getting ready to pull the pin on a set of these and am inclined to go with the 3 spoke design, but there was a question of the integrity of the 3 spoke set vs the 6 spoke for street use.
who was "the horses mouth" above? also Arron made no reply as to the validity of his statement. any follow up info??

I was told by the owner of Carrozzeria that the 5 spoke wheels are fine for street/track use. He recommended the 3 spoke wheels for track use only. MAybe due to my size and the bumpy roads we have around here.

The manufacturing facility is 15 minutes from my house so made the purchse convenient for me.

They come with a sprocket. Carro use Kawasaki sprockets. If you want 525 you run ZX10R stuff (520 - ZX6R).

I get 520 sprockets made for me by PMP outta Texas. They do a great job, are inexpensive, come in any sisze/color you want and last longer than any others out there that I've tried.

Believe me..Those wheels are plenty strong enough..

Over here we have slow, inters and fast.

Due to PC we now call them novice, inters and experienced.

These would have been my next purchase. I have heard nothing but great things about them. Every racer I spoke with told me that these lighter wheels are one of the most significant improvements you can do for handling. The Motowheels are supposed to be even lighter!

I bought the wheels directly from Carrozzeria. Got a good deal....know a guy who knows a guy, etc.

I would normally run A group at most track days but TrackDaz has a new racer school along with all the seasoned racers out there in A group on the Fridays before race weekends....usually several crashes in A group as a result. Want nothing to do with that!

We had a few incidents in B group but nothing like A.

As Bert mentioned. The axel adjuster blocks are no longer being manufactured by SMJ. The wheels are still available through Carro.
