#9He's got a lot of teeth and is a bit whiney when things go wrong, but aren't they all .... and Adriana puts up with him and still smiles.
He makes me nervous just watching him in qualifying. He's definitely got big ones and was definitely the only reason Ducati won a world title !!
If it wasn't for Stoner and Super Sic Curly Simoncelli, MotoGP would be pretty dull at the moment.

#13I am sure they are in the minority as you find in most clubs etc.
For these people, sledging and irrational degrading comments without logic or substance is their way of forcing their opinions on others. ( ie. Bullying)
This is their way of compensating for their small dicks, and social insecurity.
As such, I will refrain from further comment in this particular thread, if only to preserve the minimal self respect and small mindedness of those who choose to force their opinions publicly with such little regard for rational debate, fact and impartiality.
Have a nice day.

#14and the poms? your last world champion was who? oh yeah, barry sheene? 1978 was it? get over yourselves and stop being brainwashed by shit stirring journos who don't like riders with a real opinion. if you want to talk about no personality how about the dani pedrosa robot and as for sooks i think there's a line up to the left.
Stoner can ride, no argument from anyone as for style? have you guys actually seen him rear wheel steer those things? they all have traction control and they all have similar equipment, what i really love is how stupid rossi looks after sledging stoner all last year, he won on the ducati, rossi is 16th on the grid tonight, that's second last! i guess you need a little more than just "flair and personality" to actually win hey!

#18I don't think yesterdays race is gonna earn Stoner any legend points either ....... but at least he didn't whine about coming third !!!
Personally, I'd like to see Curly win a race.

#28but, if a guy came up the inside of you on a wet track, on a slower bike with front end grip problems when you are leading him by a shit load of points you would have to be either stupid, arrogant or both not to get out of the fooking way
me i would have just let him through and if he didnt crash out passed him later on my much superior bike

#31I watch World Superbikes, World Speedway, AMA Motocross, MotoGP etc. and I'm happy to see Gollob, Hancock, Villipoto, Checa Biaggi and others putting in their all. I couldn't care where they come from. Sometimes I'm cheering for Checa and sometimes I want Biaggi to win cause on the day I reckon he deserved it.
Blind nationalism is definately so 20th century but we all like to see home grown talent doing well and all pick our own favourites for whatever reasons but lets not forget that we are talking motorcycle racing here and not stoop to discussing ball games !!!
So Stoner doesn't want to go to Japan eh ...... the whiney little prick
Righto back into it then ..............

#33As far as slower guys drafting the fast guys it always seems to cause a bit of angst. Biaggi was accused of jacking up in corners to baulk others during qualifying and I agree they should probably just get over it but hey it's high stakes and they're the ones gambling.
As far as the Vale/Stoner crash, well they have a bit of history and given what Vale supposedly said in the media about Stoner and his time on the Ducati I expect Stoner was just waiting for the opportunity to get one back. He could have been a bit wittier though, like "getting to grip with that front end yet Valentino" or "what's up did you think I was Sete Gibernau" etc....... and with respect to the marshals, well it was pretty clear Valentino got a lot more help to get going than Stoner.
He does need to work on his sense of humor and lighten up a bit though.
He should have t-boned Lorenzo like Vale did to Gibers on that last corner at Sachenring to
Post 34 by loony888,
#34What i don't like is needless self promotion and being a cock ala Jorge.... And Valentino.
Both Awesome riders... Both cocks, who cares?
It's fun to watch on the track but as soon as the racing ends, I lose interest.
Give me more push and shove on the track and less mouth in the pits

#49MotoGP will never be the same as the Schwanz/Rainey/Doohan years, it will never be as exciting due to health and safety and unfortunatly other bullshit!!!!!!!
Say what you want about Stoner but its riders like him, Simmo and De Puniet who make the current racing exciting!
Who gives a fook who winges and whines! Do i like racers - no, i like motorcycle racing!!!! (read Vales autobiography, he too moans, winges and whines but he also nos EXACTLY when to turn it on for the cameras/media)
So stop getting hung up on what the riders are up to and enjoy the racing - and fook MotoGP, last weekend proved that 125s and Moto2 is the home of exciting motorcycle racers who dont give a shit about health and safety, bashing fairings and taking risks (and thats what i LOVE about motorcycle racing)

#52But in saying that I still get a laugh from interveiws with riders like Edwards and Rossi, but as in normal life, not all of us can have sparkling personalities and top level racing is a very serious game.
Anyone who's ever done a bit of club racing or just track days knows what sort of space your head has to be in to do it well.
So I can understand Stoners comments to Rossi straight after the race because he would have been still so amped up.
The next day he would've just woken up ,took a breath and got on with it.
Just my humble opinion, Jace

I am surprised you have such a sense of commitment to them , good for you , you must have found some that are different to the ones i deal with
On the whole they're nice people , but i couldn't eat a full un

Jorge has to be fairly pleased though, his highside yesterday at the end of practice was huge - to finish 2nd today was a result.

#89Cal stuggled most the weekend and I am now resolved to say that maybe Rea or Lafferty may have been better suited.
My wife and I got to see a supermodel walking in the paddock. She had legs that went all tge way up to her beautiful smile. While getting closer and closer to us we both realised that it was Casey and Andrea and it was right there and then that I felt he may be the luckiest man in the world.
She's so pretty, I think my wife wanted to kiss her.

#92Mr Pies must be gutted: he had the pace for at least 3rd but got stuck behind Rossi for too long. Still he made up over 5seconds on Dovi to snatch 4th; an excellent ride.
Dani's excuse for dropping off was that he didn't have enough strength in his left arm. Does anyone else think that Dani is massively talented but too fragile to be a world champion?
