So, now that I wil be getting my first garage (yay), I need a chain, lock and anchor. Found this: I'm also looking at the Motrax Ground hog 3 (cos it's easy to fit and is on offer in my local bike shop).

What do you guys think? My garage door will be aluminium with a standard key lock. I dont want to fit a garage door security type thingy cos that just screams out loud that there's sommat nice inside imho.

Floor in garage is concrete but there's no mains power. I am interested in an alarm but the garage is about 100 yards from my new house so locking it up is the main issue i think.

Any top tips are welcome.
XENA Zone Alarms

Easily protect your Trailer or Garage with Xena Zone Alarm systems. Easy install and inexpensive.

Shade this looks better than nothing, lots of motion type lights is a good deterrent and a big mean Rottweiler. chained up with yer bike inside at night.

I'm with Pete on this one, Almax all the way. I have their current monster of a chain and it would be easier to pick the SD up than the chain! Also got the ground anchor (shiny silver looking thing) and Squire lock from them.

The couple who run it Alex and Maxine are top people, (I dealt with Maxine) and the company I work for (known bike insurer) recommends them all the time.

Worth the money and some.

I believe these ground anchor are the business too;
