Choice: Age/mileage or extra's?

Bike 1:
2007 SD, 20.000km, leo cans and steering dampener, 1st owner

Bike 2:
2008 SD (black swingarm), 11.200km, almost new HP corse cans, 2nd owner

Price and smaller options are comparable, both dealer serviced.

What would be the better choice and why?
Newer, less mileage, almost always better. When buying used, the more stock the bike, the better. Better still if the owner has all the OEM parts removed (for installation of aftermarket items).
It's basically WP-dampener and tankbag Vs age and mileage.
The 08 does have (new) BT016 and I hate bridgestones, I'm more the supercorsa or racetec (soft sides) kinda guy.
The 07 has (new) corsa rosso which as far as I know are closer to the tyres I like.

Both orange
If the bikes are in a dealers just tell them change the tyres to what you want then you will buy it, thats what I always do even with new bikes, never failed yet

Could be worse though, at least they are not Michelins
Both private sellers but selling them is always an option.

Would be no brainer for me...newer & less miles. As SDnerd thinks, tyres burn so fast it's not a consideration on which bike to buy. Might look at chicken strips, tell tail sign how the bike was used. Both garage kept? Look for pride in ownership. Some just use and abuse, ride hard put away wet. Others not so much. Have a look at the servive records. How do they ride and sound?

Go for the 08! Hp corse cans look better than leo vince and they are less common, making the bike even more special
Just heard the 08 is sold, someone offered him more and payed immediately cash.

I'm going to the 07 this Wednesday, I'll keep you guys posted and any tips on good buys until then will be appreciated!
Outside the Netherlands budget: around 5K GBP or 6300 euro. Up to 7k in the Netherlands.
I just bought the 07

1st owner, FSH (new slave cylinder), 19000km, almost new tyres, CF Leo's, WP damper, taller screen, MH heelplates, axle sliders, bobbins and tankbag incl. horseshoe mount.
Looked way better then the ad pictures suggested and has the smoothest throttle response of any SD I've ridden so far.

It already got baptized as well: got caught in a heavy rain/hail shower on the highway after 10 mins of my 1hr journey but even that didn't spoil the fun
Congrats! Looks like the previous owner took good care of it.

Hummmm. I see a lock on the front disk...Hope you have a garage to keep your nice ride out of the weather. Vikings got a small shop you might have seen that will not set you back much. Bikes go down hill dang quick out side.
Hoping the best for ya.
