Chuckwalla track day

Hey guys I posted a track day in the right spot and as usual it did not come up in new post.
Let's get our bunch of guys that ride chucky I just booked sept 21 and oct 19 b group
So let have some fun and get a great KTM pit like the last couple of track days.

The price is $140 It will sell out they always do so don't wait.I will have my new RC8R that is mapped with the new FMF map so the bike is a missle
But you dukes can fly at Chucky It's not a top end track .
So I hope this gets read .I just want all you track junkies to see it
If any one needs any thing from Sato or probolt Let me know I will take care of ya Lets get out there and have some fun

Let me see what's going on and the temps in Sept there...I think the one previous to last April was in Oct. last year.??? How hot was it in Indio in Oct.???

Would it be possible to get some bikes to hire to ride round there?

Just got back from Chucky. Lowarance (John) was there as normal fast as hell.I had my RC8R .I have to say it was nice to see you John
He was going by race bikes like they were standing still including me. We ride B class and John I have to say It's nice to see you kick ass out there. I ride as fast as my brain will let me. it's mid pack .I have a back as many of you know is brand new. One thing I can never do is go down or it's wheel chair time.So that keeps me in check. It sucks

But with John he gets it all .He can make that duke go as fast as it will go.I know you want a new bike .Man you will really fly. It was fun when we were at the line we both did wheelies at the start .I think i could get you the first twenty feet Then I would never see you again.I wish i could get you on my bike it has a great map and a ti FMF pipe.I would love to see what you could do on that bike I think you might like it.I know I don't do it justice.But I have a great time. I do lap times in the 1:20's which is ok if I could get it to 2:00 then I would be happy.
Once again thanks It was you that got me out there I will have a video with you in it I hope I got the wheelie start I will have to get some one to help me get it on the forum
You make any duker proud you passed my friend Chris and he is fast he told me he tried to keep up but you took off.
So next time all you guys that track your duke you have to get out there .That track is so good.

Hey Vic, sorry we didn't have a chance to catch up. I was trying to get my buddies R1 sorted out with Ohlins forks he just bought and we were fighting with it up until the riders brief. I was just about to start throwing tools across the trailer

How'd you like the weather out there?

For those that don't know, Chuckwalla is in the middle of the desert and we were in the midst of a sand storm for most of the day. We had sand blowing across the track right at the apex of the majority of the corners. Didn't pose too much of a traction issue but definitely caused some cheek clenching moments in a couple of the faster corners.

All in all, great day. If you live close you really should get out and check that track out. It is an absolute blast and the SD works really well there.
