Clean Exhaust ? or Ceramic

Man i just spent an Inordinate amount of time and sweat over these pipes that have 15K on em. Cleaned em up while putting the new Graphite seal on . There was basically NO graphite left on the pipe.

So i spent about 1-1/2 hours cleaning these up to get to this point realizing it won't be long before they look all funked out again .

Wondering how you bloke with the Ceramic coatings are fairing with durability and cleaning ease ? anything to comment on ?

i have extractors on my ute that are ceramic coated, soap and water bring them up as new, but never mind that, how the hell did you get them that clean??

My old headers were ceramic coated and they looked great but still used to get a build up of light brown scale and shite. So far my titanium ones seem to be staying spotless if that helps though

If you still have the pipes off the bike, I wouldn't hesitate to ceramic coat them.

Mine are great easy to clean and look great. From memory cost about $150 AUD to coat.

I don't know if that's the going price there, but I think it's cheap and great value.

I've heard of people ceramic coating their pipes and then heat wrapping them. Not sure if there is much benefit in doing both, but out of the two options ceramic coating appears better.
