What do you guys think I should take the plunge on? Haven't seen either in the flesh and there isn't much info out there on the Gilles stuff mounted on an SDR, but the product looks slick.

gilles make great quality product but it's expensive.

clip ons? why? track day?
Why? Because I prefer clipons and want to lower my bars. And Im having a hell of a time figuring out where to find a lower straighter bar for this bloody bike!

Just lookin to try something new.

The convertibars don't look too bad on this thing, maybe they're just a little wide.

Ducati streetfighter bars fit I believe and they look from the pics I just saw much lower.

I got Fly Aero tapered fat bars, fitted no problem just cut 20 mm each side to make them narrower.
Seems some dealers here sell them off, I paid $50.
They come in 2 variaties, low cr and high. I used the low ones. Better on my dodgy wrist also.

Hope this helps

For anyone interested here are the dimensions of the standard bars. Thing is I don't know what the standard of measurement suppliers give - is it from center to center or the way I've done it. Not sure.
