#12The Sidewinder kits include their special, low friction chain. The description on their website makes it sound cool too. If you call or email them, they do have SD kits in 525 or 520. I think that they basically drill out blanks when you order. I could be wrong. If the Ti sprok eats chains then I would definitely want a chain from them so as to cover yourself later. $400 for a conversion kit? Cheaper than or the same as KTM parts.

#13I had a set of sidewinder sprockets on my 250SX that i sold. They where the last set I ever put on the bike. I used there chain as well. After 4 years of riding at least once a month for a day to a weekend the chain was barely stretched and the sprockets where in great shape. You had to use there oil as well. The oil is fine for the dirt, but I don't know how it would be for the street. It flung off alittle.

#21It all has to do with eighths. The 5 in 520 is the space between the pins, center to center in eighths. The 2 in 520 is the space from side to side of the links. A 530 chain has 3/8" space between. A 525 is 5/8" pin to pin and 2.5 eighths side to side, or 5/16". All about surface area on load bearing.
