I'm not sure what happened to my bike but I hope you guys can help me out. I went on an easy, slow paced 90 mile ride with no problems and I parked the bike for a couple of hours. When it was time for me go home I tried starting the bike. It cranked but it back fired and died. I tried it again at it started but the idle went crazy jumping from 2k to 4k, popping, flames shooting out the back, and then it would die. I had to ride it back and the problem went away at high rpm's. It's an 08 SD, motobox, sas plates, and akra map.
