there's lots of quite good general track, set-up, equipment goss here. One interesting one I was reading about how helmets limits your peripheral vision so you adjust your head for mental comfort=> size of helmet aperture and wearing helmets with adjusted cheek foam. My new Bell Carbon is amazing on track, I forget I'm wearing it compared to other old clunkers I've had but I got very conscious of the small vertical size of the aperture (compared to my open face), which made me move my head around more.
