CUT DOWN AKRAS?

Has anybody considered cutting down the akra cans by about 5cm so they line-up with the rear light?

just thinking that as they are re-packable how easy it would be to cut them down.

make them louder too.

Technically that shouldn't be a big problem as they are simple absorbtion cans. Cutting through them and keeping things straight and round might be difficult though.

But the effect on engine performance is unpredictable. Exhaust length en diameter are very deciding factors. It could very well be that you'll end up with some nasty dips & holes in de power and torque curves and/or loss of top end power. Cutting them down is irreversible so there's a gamble here...
