Cut down handlebars?

Hi all. I searched the forum for an answer to this but I couldn't find anything conclusive. Has anyone cut down their handlebars to make them more narrow?

I run Ducati SF bars to narrow the bike.

Use search function and search "cut bars". You'll find some stuff. There's a big thread on bars and bends too, search bars and bends. You should get something out of that too. I've cut my LSL drag bars, but I forget how much.

I always cut down the bars so they are as narrow as possible with all the switch great on. I even turned down my R&G bar ends to half their length. If I remember right I usually can lose about 40 mm from each end. A lot of the Renthal, LSL and Rizoma flat bars are very wide as standard.

Thanks. I did find one thread on it but I didn't see a clear answer. That's why I asked here. I'll check around some more. Sounds like I can cut them down a bit though.
