December SD riding in Canada

Went for a quick 2 hour ride on Saturday...I like to get in a good December burn before the real deep snow hits...didn't see another soul on any kind of bike....warmed up by immediately breaking the ton on the semi-paved road down to the main paved road...then I spent a couple of hours burning around on small twisty back roads....it was bit slippery from intermittent rain but nothing serious...

..remember..this is Canada and most bikes have been long put away in hibernation...

..but I guess thats it...snow is staying on the ground now...

In a couple of weeks I'm going to Jamaica for Christmas....when I get back I'll see if I can get a January ride in...if snow makes that impossible then I'll take the battery out and let the bike rest for a couple of months anyway...

Image is from last January..its not that bad yet...but it gives you an idea what "winter" is like around here...

Now that is a REAL winter!!

We get an inch of snow here and the country comes to a halt claiming its the worst winter since 1785
