Drswade's misfortune brings a smile

There is a famous line written on the front of the Lyle's Golden Syrup tin. It has an illustration of a dead lion with a bee hive growing from inside it's ribcage. The tag line is, "Out of the strong came forth sweetness".

So, although I would wish Drswade's recent misfortunes on no one and wish him a speedy recovery, I'd also like to say that receiving his ex race SD Scotts' steering damper made me smile with joy at beholding its quality and awesomeness. Though he is a fallen hero lying in a hospital bed, I am the new owner of a bit of kit that I've wanted to get my hands on for ages. And it's a sweet feeling indeed.

Thanks drswade and may your memories of racing Superdukes be always a good one for you. Respect mate.
Nicely said Bic.....& yes, it is very unfortunate about Drswade (hope you heal up soon bud & best of luck to you in the future with the racing, whether it be on another SD or RC8). Like you said, that Scotts damper is a piece of work aint it?...I have the Scotts set up on my SD too & friggin love the look, quality of it & how it works. They, IMHO build the best steering dampers (although I have a Motosportz on my dirt KTM...very slimline & a great sub mount) on the market.

Have you mounted it up & tested it out yet?

Cheers Rob
