Dunlops in the wet??

#4I'd like to give the Dunlops a bit of a rave too. Was not expecting anything great but they are fantastic in the dry and I have found them pretty good in the wet [its the middle of winter here]. As said above I don't push it on wet roads.
I would also recommend the Conti sport attacks as a good allrounder. They are priced competitively and last ok. They take a little bit to come up to temp but are solid after a couple of km's. They have a good shape.

#6I have been running Dunlops for years and love them.
Started with D207 then D208 then Qualifier then (with the Duke) D208RR.
After my stock tyres wore out I put the Qualifiers on.
I found the D208RRs to be awesome. In the wet they are more capable than any of the previous Dunlops I have ridden.
Sounds like you need to back off the throttle in the wet before you get hurt. This has nothing to do with the tyres.

#9I think the standard Dunlops are absolute pants in the wet, second only to the dreadful Bridgestone 218's, have locked the front too many times on moderate braking with the Dunlops
great in the dry, but truely awful in the wet "imo"
I have Pilot powers on my zx10r & they are a great road tyre, my girlfriend has Diablo corsa III wich seem to be good with the limited use i have of them.
