I run the titanium EVO sytem with smaller headers. Torque is much better that the original thicker headers. Especially below 7000 rpm

#3Interesting result.The larger diameter Akro headers were probably intended to give top end power which seems to be the case with dyno graphs published in various bike mags.The SDR was marketed as a track bike.
