End of the Season

End of season around here....one last wash to get the salty crap off...putting the lads in the stable for the winter...when the Yamaha SR 500 emerges in the spring it will hopefully look more like the bike in the last photo (some SR in Germany or France)....I'll just take the battery out of the SD and then leave it alone to rest...

Looks like a cool winter project. Did you build the stand the SR is strapped to? Just put it up there with a ramp?
Yes, I built it in about two hours with $30. worth of wood and some screws I had on hand...I can't afford one of those adjustable steel tables and my back can't afford to work on the floor anymore..so I made the height so that my hands are approximately at carburetor height...seemed a good average...I put it up with a ramp and my wife's help... its way better than working off the floor.

I then blew more money putting locking wheels on the table...so that I can move it around with the bike on it....thats handy.
