from this evening's commute that was more exciting than it needed to be! Just when you think its bad to be on a motorbike with racing tyres in thick mud, an enormous tractor pulls out from a side-road even though a person directing traffic is telling me I have right of way! I ended up having to get out of the way through the thickest part of the mud and made it without falling off. There was a police bike behind me - I bet he was tutting!
I just totally expected the tractor to stop and it didn't! I was too focussed on not sliding and staying in the tyre track I was in to even think of using the horn or just accelerating out of the way. It all kind of confirms the usefulness of having a camera going while I commute!
Dr.F: I put tape over the microphone as suggested... it makes for very strange audio! Instead of wind noise I now get... something else... which I can only imagine is clicking from the camera mount moving slightly and 'engine noise' which may just be vibration more than exhaust noise!
