as a matter of fact, I had thought that my long time carrier was over-

charging me after a bud called me bragging about how cheap his

insurance was on his 2 bmw MC's....so I said,, give me his ph.# and I called

him to buy some insurance from him for about 1/2 the price ! during

the transaction he had asked me about add-on's and I said like what?

he replied like a pipe or bags and other gold wing accessories, I said naa,

cos it would raise the premium anyway, & there is this dude named

senator danforth and he wants to ban all sport bikes off of the earth,

the last thing I want public is knowedge of breaking the law of the land?
Russ, I never bothered until I got the Superduke, then following advice from this forum I declared them. I am paying £248 fully comp with ebike. I don't think that's too bad, especially for the peace of mind. This is less than I was paying for my Mille, that had cans and a power commander fitted.
Declared to my insurer, no increase in preminum

Okay I'm all legal !

I just renewed and asked and all they said was that they would only replace any fooked exhaust after a spill with a standard exhaust, which is fine cos they are probably more expensive than the Akras !!
