i'll look up the part number for '06 headlight unit i guess.
where did you apply for the KTM certificate? through a dealer? or via web or something?
do you think it matters that you didn't do anything in france?
i guess it's only due to road tax that the UK care, i.e. if you don't de-register a uk bike when you leave they still expect you to tax it as they thinks it's in the UK. so maybe i just ride over!

I had my no-claims from UK recognised here in france, are they as accepting in the UK to take the frenchies 'word for it' on no claims?

#4KTM UK will provide your certificate.
As far as insurance goes, I used Lexham and they did accept it, but reluctantly. They're all desperate for business right now so I reckon you could get away with it.
