Extending SD ownership

Looks like I'll be on a Superduke for a little while longer.

I wanted to upgrade the bike for a while after owning the current bike for 4 yrs. Could not find a decent deal or bike that I felt would be able to fill the SD's place.
Have been toying with the idea of changing to a Triumph, even played with the idea of owning an FZ1n.
But then last week I spotted a White 08 model (one of the best looking IMO) advertised by a dealer locally.
Went to have a look on saturday and traded in the 06...
It's all very sudden but I'm sure I'll get over the shock when I pick up the new bike.
Congratulations. Sounds like a lucky escape from the tedium of Triumph or the yawn of Yamaha. You will find the new bike a little more practical than your 06 and as you say white ones are great lookers. Enjoy it.

You may find it cuts through traffic better than the old one. People see a white SD coming and get out the way just in case it is that crash happy lunatic, upside Dan

Only other bike I have looked at is an RC8, and the SD is a better every day bike I think.
I nearly bought a left over white SD that was at a dealer in Chicago, ended up with the black 08 with some goodies on it. Think I came out ahead, has a few miles on it, but it's well sorted.
Akras, re-map, sliders. Nice tyres.

Lucky I guess, as I didn't know the black ones were faster until I cam here

I have never ridden a bike that turns heads like this one does.
