BLB is stepping down from mod duties after his 2nd stint. He doesn't own a KTM anymore and his time will soon be taken up with the mini BLB. So we welcome on board ktmguy as a new mod on the team This fits well with his plans to become El Presidente and a natural first step. Thanks BLB for all your hard work and good luck ktmguy dealing with this mob!
Farewell and thanks BLB. Welcome ktmguy!

#3I thought I saw something new on the screen this morning. There was a new orange I had not noticed before. Not one for catching all the nuances of moderationhood, I simply thought KTMGUY had changed his font color to orange so he could be more like BassAgent.
BLB Break a leg in your new endeavors and thank you for stepping up to the plate.
KTMGuy Thank you for coming on board. Don't forget that I was promised a cabinet position. I hope you too will get an early introduction into locking threads that you disagree with.
Just as the new 1290 is a great real world motorcycle, I am sure you will be a great real world modifier

#4So, is this where we tell KTMGuy to fuckoff for selling out to 'da man? OR are we to pity him for his simple, ignorant ways that led him to walk into this propeller?
j/k KTMGuy - thanks for taking it on!

Well deserved, your contributions have been entertaining, informative, opinionated, fair and most thorough over the years. Take care of us all.
BLB. Thanks for all your hard work in making this forum one of the best single model places on the Web. Having joined a few triple sites recently, none of them come close to being as good as this one. Good luck with all your future riding and endeavours. As a dad of five with three still under four I can sympathise with your future lack of time and the need to re-prioritise where your it goes. Hope you get to keep on riding, even if it is in limited doses. Remember....one baby is EASY compared to twins!

#9Thanks comrade blb. The good thing about having babies of the same age is that eventually they can all amuse each other. Been there done that and after the first few years it gets a LOT better. The only down side is the size of the vehicles you'll have to buy. My advice here is to try to stick with a van or something that a SD will fit into when you do get some time off. Have fun in your new ventures.

Post 17 by DribbleDuke,
#17I'll bet your recommendation carried a lot of wait, I mean weight.
The cool thing here is he can probably screw from the inside, change your avatar to what you most surely represent, hell, he'll even change your font color to pink

#19Cheers Guys. Still popping in from time to time but sadly after a very bad experience with KTM I fear I'm too jaded with them to be an objective moderator any more. My day of Moderating on a Wednesday is now taken up looking after the Mrs and shopping for 3 or 4 wheeled machines of the push along variety
I'll still be at crashfest all be it on the old Blade. Which incidentally is twice the bike the RC8 was and its 9 years older! 3 months until everything changes and I won't be able to afford the TD's anymore but I'm sure the new baby will replace a lot of those thrills.
Working in a bike shop I'll never be far away from a decent bike just not sure my boss would be happy with me thrashing them around a track!
Good luck ktmguy, a worthy successor I'm sure. I hope this forum continues to run as the best bike forum there is, its all about the people who frequent here and the careful moderation.
