A fair few people have swapped for the KTM orange lid and forgotten to take the rubber seal out of the old plastic one so have a look and make sure it's there.
Can't help you with the throttle, I've never had a problem controlling it at low rpm with or without a PCIII, perhaps you might want to check the blance on your throttle bodies as a few people have had some imbalance which has been causing them issues.
I came from a GSXR750 and haven't really had a problem with vibrations, I also have aftermarket pegs without rubber.
Forks leaking air, there's only so much air in them so they wouldn't do it indefinitely, check that the bleed screws on top of the forks are done up properly, you have to bleed them every so often and perhaps they weren't done back up correctly.
It's a abit of a pain to have to take the panel off to get to the oil but I've made it quite easy for myself these days, I have a good quality screwdriver that is a reasonable length, but it drives using hex type bits, my hex bit set also has a bit for use with small sockets so all I need is the screwdriver an allen key bit and the socket on socket drive bit and it takes me a couple of minutes max to get the panel off. The driver with socket is long enough and slim enough to get to the hex head bolts at the bottom without issue and then simply swap for the allen key bit for the remaining two top bolts.
I reckon you're just too used to your inline 4 and glad you're willing to give it a go.
There's been some issues with the carbon tanks leaking but not sure if there's a specific place for the leak.
