I took a SD 07 out on demo today for about an hour and a half, I normally ride sports bikes ie GSXR1000, Ducati 999 etc. First impressions were very good even though it feels very strange being high up and so exposed and feeling vunerable, it feels alot faster because of that riding position which is good, more fun without having to do 120+mph. It took some getting used to but what a great everyday bike and none of those fuelling glitches that people had talked about on the previous models.
The wind blast wasn't to bad either, the new screen with that little lip seemed quite effective, brakes were awsome, riding position comfy if not unusual. It is a hooligan though not for the novice rider you could quite easily get into trouble.
I need to get my order in quick, off to northern spain in may. Black is the colour to have no question with those Ackropovic slip ons!!! Just got to sort out the luggage, Ventura do a system any other ideas?
