Picked up the SD on Saturday, the first thing I noticed was that it didn't appear to be as smooth as the demonstrator, and by the end of the 50 mile trip back from the dealers I wasn't too impressed with the snatchy FI.
The bike appeared to lurch all the time, I can handle a bit hardship in traffic but even on fast sweeping roads the bike seemed to hate coming off the throttle and finding itself again, and bumpy roads seemed to exaggerate the issue.

After a look over the bike I found the throttle was very tight with no free play, I adjusted some play into it and went out for another blast today.

Bike is much better, still some snatchiness but no worse than Im used to, still a bit bumpy but a pro suspension set up will be booked soon, apart from that its a truely fantastic bike, like a sports bike and a big motard had a kid.

Fantastic handling and power and fairly comfortable to, nice sound from the stock pipes although I do fancy a set of carbon Yoshi's.
I thought the same thing, you'll get used to it as your throttle hand becomes intuitive of the bikes response.

I'd say my fueling is great with just a throttle body balancing and addition of my carbon leo's (stock map).

My throttle cable had excessive slack which has been taken up to improve on/off/on throttle control.

I love my bike , you will too!
